Life Coaching
What is coaching?
Coaching is a technique that helps the client to pinpoint the cause of a difficulty or hindrance to their success; helps identify the steps to achieving what the client wants to achieve or gaining a clear perspective to identify options available to feel more fulfilled.
How can it help?
Coaching provides the client with a non-judgmental "sounding board" in effect. The client has access to a person "the coach" who will:
- Challenge "barriers" that are stopping the client reaching their full potential
- Provide space for the client to think through options
- Build confidence in the client to feel more equipped to take action
- Empower the client to "own" the situation and feel they can then "own" the next steps available to them
- Motivate the client to move forward on a well-thought out, structured approach.
Coaching can help with a variety of life situations for example
- Career change
- Considering retraining
- Feeling unsatisfied or unfulfilled but unsure why
- Personal lifestyle changes i.e. weight loss; relationships; taking up a new hobby or interest
Coaching is not intended to be a "long term" dependent service but a short-term support to enable you to move forward.
